Meet Betty! Betty is a 8-month-old female pit bull mix puppy. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and flea/tick/parasite free. Betty is crate- and house trained and knows basic commands. She gets along fabulously with other dogs and children, and is uninterested in cats.
Betty was rescued from Miami-Dade Animal Services on what could very well have been the last day of her life. She had many things against her: she’s an “older” puppy, big, and of all things, a pit bull mix in a county where pit bulls are out-right banned. Betty was extremely lucky to even make it past her “due” date - dogs, especially pit bulls, are notoriously killed the moment their number is called.
We couldn’t imagine such a vibrant puppy, full of life, not getting the chance to live. So we at SoFL Bullies stepped in and brought her to safety.
Betty is the quintessential family dog - she would be a perfect companion for almost any home!
